The Clinical Outreach Nurse will be responsible for implementing strategic marketing plans given by the Director of Strategic Growth and Outreach and the Clinical Outreach Manager to support the company's growth objectives. 

This position requires travel. Candidate would need to live near one of our three Florida locations (New Port Richey, Sarasota, or St. Pete). Weekly travel required throughout all three center regions.

Qualifications

  • · Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current RN or LPN licensure.
  • · Must be licensed in the state of the designated facility or, if applicable, have a qualifying Nurse        Licensure Compact (NLC).
  • · Basic personal computer skills and comfort with Microsoft Office.
  • · A minimum of two (2) years current nursing experience of which six (6) months will have been        spent in a PICU, NICU, or PPEC facility.
  • · Current CPR (Basic Life Support) is required.
  • · Current TB test required.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provides exceptional customer service
  • · Seeks to provide professional and courteous service to providers, community partners, staff, clients and families.
  • · Maintains confidentiality in all situations and interactions.
  • · Follows appropriate chain of command with questions/concerns.
  • Maintains professional responsibilities to remain up to date regarding The Kidz Club (TKC).
  • · Remains up to date with current education and evidenced based practice.
  • · Maintains current certification in basic life support.
  • · Maintains current valid nursing license in assigned state.
  • · Follows all policy and procedures implemented by TKC as applicable to job duties or duties assigned.
  • · Follows all policies outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • Cultivates and maintains relationships with all providers and hospitals.
  • · Utilize marketing plans and clinical knowledge to obtain referrals and meet company objectives and goals for referral projections.
  • · Educate providers and key hospital personnel about The Kidz Club’s PPEC services through, but not limited to, meetings, in-service presentations, and lunches.
  • · Set up and manage tables at medical related events.
  • Collaborate with center Leadership Team regarding marketing efforts.
  • · Communicate with team on provider/hospital relations to make sure center is informed and included, as needed, in any marketing efforts.
  • · Collaborate with center/Nurse Manager to make sure that medical referral sources are informed and included in the status of referrals for patients submitted by their office and referrals for their patients submitted by other sources.
  • Document and report on marketing performance.
  • · Document marketing initiatives in applicable workbooks and/or platforms.
  • · Provide reports including but not limited to referral counts, referral sources, and marketing visits/events to Director of Strategic Growth and Outreach and Clinical Outreach Manager.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned by The Director of Strategic Growth and Outreach and/or Clinical Outreach Manager.

The Kidz Club Location:

  • To be determined based on employee location

The Kidz Club PPEC provides daily skilled nursing care for children, ages birth to under 21, who have been diagnosed with medical complexities. PPECs initiate daily conversation among pediatricians, therapists, and family, providing continuity of care through case management, skilled nursing, and enrichment for the betterment of the child.
